I’ve been a fan of In Flames since 96’ and I’ve stopped listening to them after “Come Clarity”, but I still have faith in them knowing one day, they’ll make a come back with a heavier album and “Foregone” is that come back album of sorts, it’s a mash up of all that they’ve done and it is a good solid modern melodic death metal album. Blackbraid quickly followed up their 2022 debut in 2023 with more native folk infused furious black metal. This is by no means a sophomore slump as it is equally excellent, methodical, melodical, and approachable as the first record. 9/10 RJ
